Nestled along the scenic Alzaia Naviglio Grande, I Capatosta Navigli offers a quintessential Milanese pizza experience that both locals and visitors cherish. This pizza restaurant captures the vibrant spirit of the Navigli district, known for its lively canals and bustling nightlife, making it an ideal spot for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Italian flavors in a casual yet inviting atmosphere.

The main draw here is, of course, the pizza. Crafted with care and attention to traditional methods, the menu invites guests to engage creatively with the "Crea La Tua Pizza" option, allowing for a personalized culinary journey. This choice appeals to a diverse audience, from families seeking a relaxed meal to groups of friends eager to experiment with fresh ingredients and classic combinations.

Complementing the food is a carefully curated beverage list that includes regional gems like Birra Ichnusa Non Filtrata and an array of robust Italian red wines such as Chianti, Valpolicella Ripasso, and Aglianico. These select drinks enhance the overall dining experience, pairing beautifully with the wood-fired pizzas and reinforcing the rustic authenticity the brand embodies.

The setting itself balances vibrant urban charm with warm hospitality. The location on the Naviglio Grande offers picturesque views perfect for a laid-back evening or a seamless transition into Milan’s vibrant nightlife. The space feels welcoming and unpretentious, tailored to pizza aficionados and those seeking a genuine taste of Italy’s culinary heritage.

Incredible experience watching the sunset here! Service was very fast and friendly. Aperol spritz was excellent and focaccia bursting with flavour!

A nice, simple restaurant where you can enjoy pizza by the canal in Navigli. The staff were polite and attentive. The prices were quite reasonable, and the Neapolitan-style pizzas were cooked in a wood-fired oven and very delicious. Their house wines were also good. The atmosphere of the restaurant is not very special and can be a bit tiring.

Absolutely the best pizza ever! This place is incredibly warm and welcoming. Chef Vincenzo is such a lovely, friendly person, and the whole staff is just as kind and attentive. We have eaten pizza in many parts of Italy and in other countries too, but this one truly beats them all! The dough was simply exceptional ,honestly, I’ve never had such a perfect crust before. We were truly impressed and pleasantly surprised. We already know we want to come back here just to eat this pizza again… and we’ll probably start checking flight tickets constantly just for that! Keep up the amazing work and we wish you much success in the future! Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality!

This is my 5th time in this restaurant and they never disappoint. An Italian teacher who lives here recommended it to me. The pizza is excellent; I'd say it's one of the best I've ever tried. They have a wide variety of dishes and very reasonable prices. The staff is super friendly, but the service a little slow. Aside from that, it's an excellent restaurant.

Arrived in Navigli, walked along the canal and saw l capatosta on the opposite side, cross bridge and the rest is history. Greeted by a friendly member of staff who helped me with the ordering due to mobile network issues. Order the pizza and words cannot describe the experience, the pizza was spectacular, fresh, prepared and cook to perfection. The chef was Vincenzo and I did not realise at the time. Forget the rest of pizza restaurants. This was on point and more. Grazie

It is often convenient to select the most accessible pizzeria in Milan; however, being guided by two long-term Italian residents led us to discover extraordinary and uniquely charming establishments that were truly off the beaten path. The pizza was magnificent. Although I am not typically a fan of cheese, I found myself making an exception for this pizza. From the crust to the toppings, it felt as though I was dining at Milan's finest pizzeria. They offer a wide selection of choices to cater to every individual's preferences, ranging from unique date-infused pizzas to traditional ham pizzas. The drinks with the pizza would make anyone's mouth water. Following this exceptional meal, no pudding was selected, precluding me from offering a verdict on the desserts. However, I encourage you to visit and share your experience, as I believe you will not be disappointed. Enjoy
